Buchanan Street Elementary PTA is a registered non-profit organization. A local unit of California State and National PTA, it is part of the largest and oldest (125 years) child advocacy organization in the United States. Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The Buchanan Street Elemtentary PTA is a group of parents, guardians, students, teachers, family and community members investing time in our kids and neighborhood to make our little corner of Highland Park a happier place.

What We Offer
Buchanan serves students in TK to 5th grade and offers a Dual Language Program and a STEM Magnet Center program as well as residential and special education programs. Our school community believes all students will achieve academic proficiency, develop social skills, and become productive citizens that are "Ready for the World!
